In keeping with our mission to inspire intercultural learners, GEMS World Academy-Chicago is launching an innovative global technology course this semester that encourages seventh-grade students to explore connections between technology and worldwide service.
Student clubs are key components of the extracurricular offerings at GEMS World Academy-Chicago. The Breakfast Book Club, which includes more than 30 third- and fourth-graders, is one of the clubs giving students an important social and intellectual outlet outside of the classroom.
GEMS World Academy-Chicago students make use of the city of Chicago’s resources to learn from various experts in their fields. A Field Study to StoryCorps helped first-grade students learn the answer to one big question: What makes a good interview?
