An International Preschool-Grade 12 Academy 

GEMS hosts United Nations Day celebration

GEMS World Academy Chicago, in partnership with the Chicago chapter of the United Nations Association, hosted a dinner and awards presentation that honored local individuals and organizations for trying to improve the world by promoting the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

The event brought together professionals from a variety of fields in a celebration of efforts to make the world more just, peaceful and sustainable. GEMS Head of School Tom Cangiano was among the evening’s speakers.

The following individuals and organizations were honored. They are listed next to the UN Global Goals they helped promote:
