"We didn't want our daughter's education to be a series of joyless, unrelated requirements and tests. We wanted her to maintain the innate love of learning that all kids are born with, and that's why we chose GEMS. She doesn't think of school as a series of discrete subjects, like math, reading and science. At GEMS, they're all integrated — and they include aspects of social-emotional development that build character. The IB Primary Years Program is teaching her to understand herself and the world in a holistic way."

"One of the reasons we felt GEMS World Academy Chicago was the right choice for both of our children is the fact that it's the only school in Chicago to offer a full IB program for its entire student body. Laying the educational foundation from an early age not only helps to set the stage for how they approach issues of the day today, but it also builds character and important life skills for tomorrow."
